Job Purpose

To ensure the security of Meadowhall and the safety of the people therein by endeavouring to attain a trouble/crime free environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

The following is a non-exhaustive list of primary duties and responsibilities you will be expected to undertake, however, you will be part of a larger CCS at Meadowhall team and should therefore be willing to help and assist all colleagues within the business at any time:

Hi-visibility patrolling of the centre, car parks and surrounding lands.

Crime prevention and detection.

Provide excellent customer service.

Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and legislation.

Always comply with policies on dress, appearance and hygiene.

Carry out accurate reporting and documentation.

Qualifications

Valid SIA Door Supervisor license

Working Conditions

Normal working conditions include patrolling the centre, both internally and externally. Therefore, you will be subjected to varied weather conditions (sun, rain, sleet snow, wind, etc.).

The role will be physically challenging as there are multiple levels in the centre, which can include the use of ladders, climbing stairs and walking considerable distances. You may also be required to assist with snow/ice clearing to support normal operation in adverse weather.

Vetting

Before commencing employment you will be subject to BS7858 vetting, which will include:

a basic DBS check

ID verification

a right to work in the UK check

a 5-year employment history check

a basic UK credit check

Additional Information

6-week rolling rota - 6:30am earliest start, 11pm latest finish, occasional night shifts.

Westfield Health - available after passing probationary period.

SIA renewals/courses paid for by company - available after passing probationary period.

Sport and Social club membership - available on commencement of employment.

All uniform, footwear and equipment provided.
