Security Steward - Laggan

Looking for extra hours? Join our team as a Security Steward at Laggan--evening and weekend shifts available!

As a Security Steward at Laggan, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, and suppliers during weddings and related events. Your role is to enforce venue policies and handle any security concerns with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety & Security

Conduct regular patrols of the venue to identify potential risks or disturbances Respond promptly to any security concerns, conflicts, or emergencies Enforce venue policies and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Monitor and manage intoxicated or disorderly guests in a professional manner Work closely with other security & venue team and emergency services if needed

Incident Handling & Reporting

Address and resolve minor security issues discreetly Report any serious incidents, accidents, or safety concerns to the supervisor. Maintain accurate records of any security-related events or interventions.

Emergency Response

Be prepared to handle emergency situations, such as fire evacuations or medical incidents. Follow proper procedures for reporting and managing emergencies.

Requirements:

Must have SIA training up to date Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Attention to detail and good observational skills.
