The Role
As Security Supervisor at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, you'll ensure our guests, colleagues, and property are protected with discretion, care, and professionalism. Working alongside the Director of Security, you'll support the day-to-day running of the security team, lead investigations, and help oversee health & safety across the hotel. Above all, you'll play a pivotal role in creating an environment where every guest feels comfortable, secure, and welcomed.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth, professional operation of the security team, ensuring 24/7 vigilance across the hotel.
• Safeguard colleagues, guests, and property, while upholding Nobu's philosophy of warm and genuine service.
• Lead and support investigations, preparing clear reports and liaising with management, law enforcement, or other agencies when required.
• Deliver regular training, fire drills, and crisis management exercises to ensure readiness and compliance.
• Balance the needs of the hotel by scheduling and assigning duties for the security team.
• Act as a point of contact for escalated guest or colleague situations, handling each with calm authority and discretion.
• Collaborate with department heads to maintain a culture of safety and security across the hotel.
• Assist in the development and implementation of security SOPs and health & safety standards.

What We're Looking For
You bring proven experience in a luxury hotel security role (minimum 3 years) and are confident managing in-house teams as well as external contractors. With an SIA licence, emergency first aid, IOSH, and fire safety certification, you combine technical expertise with natural leadership. You're proactive, discreet, and calm under pressure, with excellent communication skills and strong knowledge of OPERA, Microsoft Office, and security procedures.
