Security Supervisor

Reports to: Loss Prevention Manager


Responsible for: Site Security


Great new opportunity available to join our business as a Security Supervisor. The main role of the Security Supervisor will be to protect our premises, assets, and employees. You will supervise a team of Security Guards and as a Security team will be collectively responsible for ensuring that the team provide and maintain a high standard of security, safety and customer care to all employees and visitors. As well as guard against theft, unauthorised admittance and to maintain security of the premises.

Key responsibilities

:

Task management of site Security Guards Employee and third-party Searches Reporting security equipment faults to relevant contractors and organizing repair. Complete incident reports if required. Assist in the induction and training of new members of the security team. Access Control management Site CCTV Monitoring To ensure employee compliance with site security SOPs and policies Maintenance of all records and logs such as patrol logs, vehicle logs CCTV checks etc Reporting of incidents and training security team personnel on how these reports should be recorded and escalated.

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

Valid SIA License preferred. Previous supervisory/management experience within the Security industry or equivalent (Police, Armed Forces, Loss Prevention etc.) Surveillance skills and detail orientation Computer literate Punctual and reliable. Flexibility in working hours. Excellent communication both verbal and written. The right to work in the UK either by a valid visa or right to work documentation. At least 5 years of checkable work history Ability to handle difficult, pressurised, and/or emergency situations.
