Delivering results that meet and / or exceed the Key performance indicators / Service Level Agreement for the customer through full responsibility and accountability, providing a service that aids in the retention of the contract.
To undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development.

Main Duties
The principal objectives of the Security Team can be summarised as being:
"the protection of people and assets from injury and / or loss caused by intruders, fire, theft, damage, wastage or accident, so far as it is reasonably practicable, therefore minimising financial loss and the protection of people in or on the client's premises".
Some examples of the collective objectives and responsibilities are listed below, however this list is not exhaustive and is offered as an example only.
To prevent and / or detect:
Access by unauthorised people or vehicles
Damage
Theft
Unauthorised use of equipment
Unauthorised use of keys to enter restricted or secured areas
Loss of valuables or property
Loss of confidential information
Controlling access and egress of authorised people
Assisting with the safety of visitors, contractors and employees regarding health and safety
It is essential that all personnel fully demonstrate commitment to Mitie Values and the CSE Objectives of Security / Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People.
+ Utilising the remote cctv system to Identify any issues, supporting the deployment of security solution
+ To effectively operate the CCTV facility whilst adhering to GDPR guidance and Mitie/client legal teams.
+ To identify areas of opportunity
+ Responding to intelligence gathered or gained through CCTV observations you will be responsible for identifying where there is a need for CCTV to be deployed.
+ Preparation of all CCTV material required for review/ further investigation or dissemination
+ Completion of evidential police statements MG11 alongside any other necessary administrative duties
+ Take responsibility and accountability of all daily operations, and to support the Security Contract Manager in the smooth running of the contract.
+ To manage, motivate and develop the on-site team to achieve the best possible performance and levels of service.
+ To have a thorough knowledge of routine and emergency procedures and be able to respondefficiently and appropriately to any eventuality.
+ To provide the highest level of customer service, ensuring that all persons either visiting or working at the site are treated courteously and professionally at all times.
+ Effectively oversee all tasks, in-line with SOPs.
+ To respond and manage all incidents and follow escalation procedures.
+ Support the Security Control Room operation, email account inbox, CCTV and telephones at all times, responding promptly and appropriately to requests and duties.
+ Overseeing the management of site Access Control System, including oversight of alarm response, adding of access to passes, issuing of new staff passes and responsibility for termination and deletion of Security access passes.
+ Provide the highest standards of written reports.
+ To support the administration, issue and return of all keys, body worn cameras, and radio communication equipment.
+ Comply with Mitie policies and procedures advising the Security Contract Manager on any failures to comply and ensure the correct action is taken to resolve such issues.
+ To act as an ambassador to the client organisation ensuring that their business is represented in the highest manner in all the duties undertaken by you, and by the security team.
+ Carry out post visits as scheduled by the Contract manager (to both locations )
+ A valid frontline and SIA CCTV license is essential
+ Demonstrable competence in the detection of dishonesty/criminal activity
+ Ability to provide support in a constructive way in a challenging environment
+ Effective team player but must also be capable of working unsupervised
+ Ability to work in a fast-moving security environment
+ Strong capability in the use of CCTV technology
+ Good attention to detail
+ Excellent organisation, and communication skills
What we are looking for
Previous Security Experience
SIA License
SC Clearance desirable
Good literacy and communication skills and have excellent verbal and written English.
Be computer and software literate.
