Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee the safety and security operations across our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising security personnel, implementing surveillance protocols, and ensuring loss prevention measures are effectively in place. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of security systems and procedures. The Security Supervisor will play a crucial part in maintaining a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel to ensure efficient coverage of all security zones. Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV to identify suspicious activity or security breaches. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorised access. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and unauthorised removal of property. Respond promptly to security incidents, including emergencies requiring first aid or evacuation procedures. Maintain detailed incident reports and ensure all security protocols are adhered to. Organise training sessions for security staff on surveillance techniques, emergency response, and first aid procedures. Liaise with law enforcement agencies when necessary and assist with investigations related to security breaches.

Qualifications

Proven experience in security supervision or a similar role. Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques. Valid first aid certification is highly desirable. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and oversee a team of security personnel. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations. A recognised security qualification or relevant training is preferred. Pay: 25.00 per hour
