Stoke Lane Dentistry is under a new management!

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time dental nurse with experience in oral surgery, implant dentistry and sedation. Good communication and IT skills are required. Must be available on a Tuesday.

Duties

Assist our oral surgeon during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Care for patients under sedation. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up to date in the IT system. Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas to adhere to health and safety regulations. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls to ensure efficient patient flow within the practice. Collaborate with the dental team to create a welcoming environment for patients, fostering trust and comfort. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated with best practices in dental nursing.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications or equivalent experience. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality service. Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management is desirable but not essential. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: 17.00-18.00 per hour
