Sefton Arc, a unique service provided by Sefton Council, is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team. We offer a variety of services to support both council-wide initiatives and external customers, including Electrical, Alarms, Careline, and an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).

Role: Senior Alarms Technician
As an integral part of our central team, the Senior Alarms Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of alarms engineers who carry out installation, servicing, and maintenance of a wide range of alarm systems, including intruder alarms, fire alarms, CCTV and other security systems. You will ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction, meeting accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support alarms engineers in their day-to-day duties.
Plan and coordinate installation, maintenance, and service schedules.
Ensure all systems are installed and maintained in line with industry regulations and best practices.
Provide technical guidance and training to team members.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
Monitor performance, quality control, and compliance with health and safety standards.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of alarm systems.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant technical qualifications and certifications (e.g., FIA, NSI, or equivalent).
