About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable self-employed bricklayer to work on a range of domestic projects in Stourbridge and the wider West Midlands region. This role is ideal for an experienced tradesperson who takes pride in their work and can work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out all aspects of bricklaying, including blockwork, face brickwork, garden walls, extensions, and structural alterations Reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans Setting out and measuring work areas accurately Mixing mortar and preparing materials as required Working in compliance with health and safety regulations Ensuring high standards of workmanship and cleanliness on site Liaising with clients, contractors, and site managers when needed
Requirements

Proven experience as a bricklayer (minimum 3 years preferred) NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Bricklaying Own tools, PPE, and reliable transport UTR number and ability to work under CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
