Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Canine Hydrotherapist to join our team on a self employed basis.

At Greendale Farm we have one of the biggest hydro pools in the south east of England, and are now looking for another hydrotherapist to join us with their business. In this role, you will provide specialised hydrotherapy treatments to dogs, aiding in their rehabilitation and overall well-being. You will work closely with pet owners and veterinary professionals to develop tailored treatment plans that enhance the physical health and mobility of our canine clients. A passion for animal care and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of dogs' physical conditions and mobility issues. Develop and implement customised hydrotherapy treatment plans in collaboration with pet owners and veterinarians. Administer hydrotherapy sessions, ensuring the safety and comfort of each dog throughout the process. Maintain accurate records of each dog's progress and treatment history. Educate pet owners on the benefits of hydrotherapy and proper aftercare practices. Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of hydrotherapy equipment and facilities. Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns from pet owners promptly. Assist with heavy lifting of dogs as needed during treatments.

Qualifications

Previous experience in animal care or veterinary settings is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and assist dogs during therapy sessions. A genuine passion for animal welfare and rehabilitation. Certification or training in hydrotherapy for animals is mandatory. Must be fully qualified and fully insured.
