Self employed Carer / PA / Personal Assistant - Alsager ST7 - TEMP position 14 per hour working with a Male Client Various shifts available Up to 39hrs a week Temporary position

We require a professional, reliable enthusiastic and caring individual to assist a man with complex health needs, Be required to organise, engage and participate in a range of activities to enhance and diversify the client's interests. Be required to support the client on a one to one basis both in their home and in social settings.

The person(s) will be flexible and able to work day and night shifts

Experience in supporting a person with learning and physical disabilities will be advantageous as will PEG feeds, cough assist and suction.

The successful candidate will be genuine, caring, resilient and trustworthy with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively alone and within a team and who is essentially looking for a rewarding and fulfilling role.

The client presents complex needs, physical and learning disabilities arising from brain injury.

The client requires full support with all aspects of care which is to be carried out to the highest standards with dignity and integrity.

The successful candidate will:

Join an established and supportive team of self employed care providers.

Have experience or background within a care/healthcare setting, although not essential.

Administer medications.

Have a full clean driving licence.

Be a non-smoker.

Be required to organise, engage and participate in a range of activities to enhance and diversify the client's interests.

Be required to support the client on a one to one basis both in their home and in social settings.

Be flexible and able to work and day and night shifts (preferred).

Provide additional cover for holidays and sickness.

Receive full training/shadowing support however caring qualifications preferred.

Competitive rates and enhanced DBS required.

Various Shifts including waking nights are available at up to 14 per hr self employed rate

The position may become permanent at a later date
