We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a DBS and will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and clients. background in commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and free from dust, dirt, and debris.
Manage waste disposal and recycling processes effectively.
Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and efficiently.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Assist with special cleaning projects as required.
Requirements
Previous experience in commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
Physical capability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting light loads and standing for extended periods.
A proactive attitude towards health and safety regulations in the workplace.
