Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Ensure all rooms are cleaned to the highest standards, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and clothing as required. Prepare meals as needed, demonstrating good cooking skills to cater to dietary preferences. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless operations within the establishment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a housekeeping role is preferred; hotel or commercial cleaning experience is an advantage. Strong attention to detail with a thorough approach to cleaning tasks. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests or residents. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Flexibility in working hours may be required based on operational needs. A positive attitude towards work and a willingness to learn new skills related to housekeeping duties.
