Responsibilities
Develop and implement personalised care plans for clients based on their unique circumstances and goals.
Provide one-on-one counselling sessions, offering emotional support and guidance.
Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote peer support and shared experiences.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and updates in accordance with organisational policies.
Collaborate with other professionals, including healthcare providers and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Utilise IT systems to document client interactions and manage case files efficiently.
Communicate effectively with clients, demonstrating empathy and understanding while maintaining professional boundaries.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance counselling skills and knowledge of best practices.
Requirements
A relevant qualification in counselling or psychology is essential.
Proven experience in a counselling role or similar position is preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire trust and confidence in clients.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
Familiarity with developing care plans tailored to individual client needs is highly desirable.
Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and documentation purposes.
