We are seeking a reliable and professional Courier Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering parcels efficiently and safely across designated routes. Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, to deliver parcels within specified timeframes Plan efficient routes to optimise delivery times and fuel consumption Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, ensuring items are secure during transit Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and proof of delivery documentation Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record Experience with warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong communication skills for liaising with customers and team members Organised with excellent time management skills to meet tight schedules Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations within the area of operation
