Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of packages and documents while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to navigate efficiently throughout the delivery area.

Duties

Safely operate a vehicle to deliver packages and documents to various locations. Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Handle packages with care, including heavy lifting when necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups, including obtaining signatures when required. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading of goods.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is an advantage. Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial, particularly in relation to logistics and inventory management. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during deliveries.
