We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods and parcels to various locations in a timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the company's professional image. Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries across designated areas. Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures. Verify delivery details and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery from customers. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly. Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during deliveries.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier is preferred. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving or warehouse operations is advantageous. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and team members. Familiarity with GPS devices or route planning software is beneficial.
