Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. As a Decorator, you will be responsible for enhancing the aesthetic appeal of various spaces through paint and decorative finishes, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and materials. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within the agreed timeframe. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times. Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and setup.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting or a related field is essential. Drivers license needed, company van will be supplied Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A valid driving licence is required for travel between job sites. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship. Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials is advantageous. Pay: 13.00-18.00 per hour
