We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Self Employed Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in their home. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, live in, or home care environments, and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role requires a blend of practical skills and emotional intelligence to ensure that each individual receives personalised care tailored to their unique needs.
Areas we cover: Dartford, Gravesend, Tunbridge Wells, Medway, Maidstone, Seven Oaks and Borders of Southeast London

Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
Provide patient care in a respectful and dignified manner, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
Support individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia care, employing behaviour management techniques as needed.
Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and preferences while assisting with meal planning.
Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and physical well-being.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the supervising nurse or manager.
Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, particularly when moving clients or equipment.
Skills
Experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or hospice care is highly desirable.
Strong background in patient care, including knowledge of first aid practices.
Familiarity with caregiving techniques for seniors, including those with Alzheimer's or dementia.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach towards clients and their families.
Proficiency in meal preparation tailored to individual dietary needs.
Valid driving licence for transporting clients is preferred but not essential.
A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and adapting to the needs of clients. This role is vital in providing high-quality care and support to those who need it most, making a significant difference in their lives every day.
