About the Role
We're looking for a self-employed Sales Assistant to join our small, dynamic events team, supporting a variety of brands at consumer shows across the UK.
This is a customer-facing, sales-driven role where you'll engage directly with the general public, answering product-related queries, offering advice, and driving sales -- all while working alongside our dedicated and passionate show team.
It's a hands-on, fast-paced, and varied position where you'll play a key part in bringing our clients' brands to life at some of the UK's most prestigious events, including the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
While we operate across multiple sectors, a large proportion of our events fall within the gardening/outdoor and automotive industries. An interest in either area would be beneficial, though not essential.
Presenta Connect provides accommodation and subsistence during events, and we offer a competitive daily rate, discussed individually with suitable applicants.

Please note:
due to the nature of the events industry, weekend work, occasional unsociable hours, and overnight stays are core requirements and non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome visitors to the stand with friendly, approachable, and professional customer service.
Represent multiple brands confidently across the Garden, DIY, and Automotive sectors.
Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide relevant product information and advice.
Demonstrate product features and benefits clearly and effectively.
Drive sales through proactive conversation and product knowledge.
Respond to general questions about brands, product ranges, and event activities.
Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing stand throughout the event.
Support stock management and ensure products are well presented.
Follow brand guidelines to ensure consistent and professional representation.
Work collaboratively with the wider event team to ensure smooth daily operations.
(Optional for the right candidate) Assist with setup and breakdown of exhibition stands.
Adhere to all event health & safety procedures.
Commit to working the full duration of each scheduled event, including weekends where required.
Requirements
Full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
Physically able to undertake manual handling tasks and remain on your feet throughout events.
A proactive, reliable, and flexible attitude.
Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required.
