We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Self Employed Franchise Caterer to join our dynamic and forward thinking club. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and catering with experience of operating as a self employed franchisee. As the caterer, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and serving food for the demands of our day to day membership and at our various events while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation.
Duties
Plan, cost and implement interesting menus based on client requirements and dietary restrictions using locally sourced produce.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring quality and presentation are maintained.
Set up and break down catering events, including arranging tables, serving stations, and dining areas.
Manage the serving of food to members and guests in a professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service throughout.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and service areas in compliance with food safety regulations and be qualified to a minimum of Level 4 Food Safety and experienced working within the demands of the local authorities and maintaining our EHO 5 Star rating.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during events, addressing any issues that may arise promptly.
Experience
Previous experience as a franchisee in a golf environment would be advantageous but applicants with experience as a franchisee in a related environment would also be considered.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Experience in food preparation within a restaurant, hotel or sports club environment is essential.
Culinary experience with the ability to create diverse menus is an advantage.
Excellent guest service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and guests.
A background in hospitality management is essential as is experience of hiring and managing staff.
The successful applicant will not only need to demonstrate the highest levels of delivering exceptional food but also skills in business acumen. This is a self employed opportunity, you will be running your own business.
