Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in daily activities. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Follow care plans meticulously to meet the specific needs of each client. Drive to clients' homes or care facilities as required, ensuring safe transportation. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition using IT systems. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both clients and staff. Complete notes for the care you have provided .

Experience

Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable but not essential. A good command of English is required for effective communication with clients and team members. Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is advantageous. Basic IT skills are necessary for documentation and record-keeping purposes. A valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving travel between locations.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: 13.40 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 50 per week
