Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Mortgage Broker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial services and demonstrate proficiency in basic mathematics. As a Mortgage Broker, you will play a crucial role in helping clients secure financing for their property purchases, guiding them through the mortgage process from start to finish.

Responsibilities

Assess clients' financial situations and provide tailored mortgage solutions that meet their needs. Liaise with lenders to negotiate mortgage terms and conditions on behalf of clients. Prepare and submit mortgage applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the mortgage market, including interest rates, lending criteria, and industry regulations. Build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other industry professionals to generate referrals. Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the mortgage process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Conduct regular follow-ups with clients post-closing to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.

Qualifications

Proven experience in the financial services sector is highly desirable. Strong mathematical skills to accurately assess financial data and calculations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple client files effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Relevant qualifications or certifications in mortgage brokering or finance would be advantageous but not essential.
