Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, experience in commercial driving, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting.
Responsibilities
Deliver goods to customers across designated routes in a timely manner (you will have the same route) Load and unload items, often requiring heavy lifting and manual handling treating parcels with respect Communicate effectively with Managment regarding issues
Preferably must have own LWB or medium size van, but Van's can be provided.
60 - 100 parcels per day
3.50 per parcel delivered
Experience
Proven experience as a delivery driver Valid UK driver's licence with a clean driving record. Familiarity with local routes and geographical areas is advantageous Experience in handling heavy loads and performing physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team membersThis position offers an engaging work environment for motivated individuals who take pride in their driving skills and customer service.
