Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and logs. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading of goods. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus. Experience in warehouse operations can be beneficial, particularly in loading and unloading tasks. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the loading process. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members effectively.
