We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of packages and documents to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to manage time effectively while navigating routes efficiently.
Responsibilities
Deliver packages and documents promptly and safely to designated locations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and delivery confirmations.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.
Assist with loading and unloading items, which may involve heavy lifting.
Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Report any incidents or accidents immediately to management.
Skills
Previous delivery driver experience is highly desirable.
Valid driving licence; experience as a driver is advantageous.
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices.
Strong driving skills with the ability to navigate various routes efficiently.
Experience in warehouse operations is beneficial.
Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during deliveries.
