We're a

busy building and maintenance company

working with a range of

property management firms, surveyors, and private clients

across Sussex.

We're looking for a

skilled and reliable Multi-Trader

to join our team. The role involves a mix of

block management works

,

reactive maintenance

, and

general builders' work

linked to refurbishments, extensions, and similar projects.

You'll be working mainly in

Brighton and Hove

, but also across

Hastings, Bognor, Crawley

, and everywhere in between when needed. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and can get the job done right -- first time.

What You'll Be Doing

Carry out a wide range of building and maintenance tasks as instructed by the Operations Manager or Director, within a team. Manage your own workload within the set working hours, and time efficiently to meet agreed deadlines set by management. Work together on site with other tradesman and colleagues to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently. Record your daily work and updates using our simple mobile app. Keep in touch with the team to ensure jobs are completed safely, correctly, and to a high standard. Keep your work area clean and tidy, whether you have a labourer on site or not. Order the materials you need in advance through our approved suppliers. Stay alert to any health and safety issues on site and report them straight away to management.

What We're Looking For

Full UK driving licence

and

own vehicle

(expenses reimbursed where possible under UK Tax Laws).

Own set of tools

for the work you're confident in doing.

Smartphone

and confidence using our apps for job reporting, job sheets and communication with management and suppliers.

Strong communication skills

able to talk with clients, colleagues, and management clearly.

At least 5 years' experience

in building/construction with solid ability across multiple trades: Basic rendering, Brickwork, Dry lining, Basic carpentry, soffit, fascia and guttering, and other general trades (does not have to be all, but ideally more than two of the above or others not stated) Comfortable working on scaffolding. Good

time management

and

organisational skills

Pay: 21.25-27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
