Overview


We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across a variety of commercial and residential sites. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with a range of tools and equipment. The ideal applicant will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, physical stamina for heavy lifting, and experience working with both hand and power tools. Responsibilities



Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete plumbing tasks efficiently. Conduct inspections to identify issues within plumbing systems and determine appropriate solutions. Perform basic measurements and calculations using mathematical skills to ensure accurate installation and repairs. Assist with the assembly of plumbing components and related mechanical systems. Carry out heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely as required for various projects. Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to health and safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope. Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of tools, materials, or personnel when necessary.

Experience



Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, or maintenance is essential. Knowledge of welding techniques relevant to plumbing applications is desirable. Familiarity with using hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, and screwdrivers is required. Experience working with power tools including drills, saws, and grinders is preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to piping systems, fixtures, and appliances is highly advantageous. Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work are necessary. Previous experience in carpentry or assembly work can be beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely over extended periods is essential. A valid driving licence suitable for operating commercial vehicles is desirable but not mandatory for all roles.
