Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential sites. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with a variety of tools and materials. The ideal applicant will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, physical stamina for heavy lifting, and a commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate installation Using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks efficiently Conducting routine inspections to identify potential issues before they develop into major problems Performing heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and effectively Troubleshooting mechanical problems within plumbing systems and implementing appropriate solutions Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes and safety regulations Assisting with the assembly of plumbing components in both new constructions and renovation projects

Experience

Proven experience in plumbing work within commercial or residential environments Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic carpentry techniques Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and associated machinery Ability to perform basic maths calculations for measurements and material estimations Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely Valid driving licence for commercial driving is preferred but not essential Additional skills such as assembly work or experience with specialised equipment are advantageous
