Self-Employed Private Hire Driver

We are recruiting both

licensed

and

new Private Hire Drivers

to join our growing team. This is a

self-employed opportunity

based in Lincoln, with a minimum expected commitment of

40 hours per week

, including weekends.

About the Role:

As a Private Hire Driver, you will provide safe, courteous, and professional transport services for local and national journeys, including airport transfers, school contracts, and more.

Customer service

is key, so being well-presented, polite, disciplined, organised, and motivated is crucial.

You will need to be:

21 or over

and have held a full driving licence (UK, Northern Ireland, or EU with UK counterpart) for at least

2 years

. Capable of dealing with the public in a calm, patient, and professional manner. A safe and experienced driver, who is reliable and trustworthy. Able to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK and pass an

Enhanced DBS check

.

Earnings & Benefits:

Typical weekly earnings of

900-1,200

(for 10-12 hours per day, 6 days a week) depending on hours worked.

50:50 earnings split

Requirements:

Becoming a licensed Private Hire Driver typically takes 4-8 weeks and involves a knowledge test, driving test, medical and safeguarding assessments, and an Enhanced DBS check. We will guide you through the process and provide all necessary details.
