About the Role

We're looking for a reliable and motivated

Self Employed Removals Driver/Porter

to join our team on a flexible, as-needed basis. This is not just a driving job! It's a physically active, customer-facing role where no two days are the same, which will lead to a full time position.

You'll assist in carrying out domestic and commercial moves, driving vehicles, handling items with care, and ensuring top service for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Drive and operate 3.5-tonne removal vans safely (including daily vehicle checks). Load, unload, and transport items with care and attention to detail. Assist with packing, unpacking, dismantling, and reassembling furniture. Maintain a professional, courteous manner with clients at all times. Work efficiently as part of a team, sometimes during long or irregular hours. Ensure vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues promptly. Follow all health, safety, and company procedures.

What We're Looking For

A valid UK driving licence (clean record preferred). Previous experience in removals or logistics is ideal. Physically fit and able to lift heavy items safely. Strong customer service and communication skills. A flexible approach to working hours, including availability on weekends. Dependable, punctual, and committed to high standards.
