We are seeking a skilled, Self Employed Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various machines and equipment, with a strong focus on precision and quality. This role is essential in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our operations. Training in these areas can be provided if required.
Duties
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions effectively.
Have a basic knowledge of sewing machines, overlocking machines. Training for using industrial sized machines will be given if required.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Utilise sewing skills when required for specific projects or tasks.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Basic sewing skills are desirable for certain tasks related to production.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work.
