Job Description

We are seeking self employed 'Skilled Welder Fabricators' to join our small team of Engineers for an immediate start.

There will be a mixture of working along side other team members and occasionally on your own, this will be based between our fabrication workshop and across a variety of sites we contract to.

You will be required to use MMA/ARC and MIG welders on a daily basis with MMA/ARC taking a stronger lead.

You will also be required to use manual and powered hand tools on a daily basis for job installation, Our work will vary from local contracts to Maintaining production plants mainly in the Midlands area, providing maintenance/fault finding and rectification for all our clients.

Our company is family run based in Norton Canes and has been operating for over 40 years, Our work week consists of 39 hours in the following format,

- Monday to Thursday 0700-15.30 and Friday 0700-14.30

Overtime, occasional weekend and night shift work may be required giving you a 12 hour shift.

A full UK driving license is essential.

Expectations -

>Have basic tools to complete work including - Hammer, punch, marking out equipment, measuring equipment, spanners etc.

>Be able to fully operate welding equipment

>Have a solid understanding of technical drawings and be able to fabricate from them

>Be able to operate cutting and drilling machinery when required (including angle grinders)

>Work on site when required

>Must have good work ethic with a positive can do attitude

>Committed to workshop safety and cleanliness

>Willingness to work overtime if required

Desirable but not essential -

>Fork lift truck licence

>MEWP and PASMA license

Pay: 20.00-24.00 per hour
