We offer Art Therapy and Creative Therapies to Children, Teenagers and their families.
We are creating a community where arts therapists can work in purpose built arts therapy rooms. We provide a professional environment that celebrates creativity, we believe this promotes high quality work. We want therapists to feel cared for, just as we would want our clients to be cared for and thought about.
The arts therapy rooms give you a base where you can feel rooted for the day. Parents bring their children along to the clinic for their sessions

We are seeking an Art Therapist or Drama Therapist that can offer therapy sessions on a Saturday between 8am-5pm or weekdays between 3pm-7pm.
We are looking for a qualified Art Therapist/ Art Psychotherapist or Drama Therapists to join our network of self-employed Therapists in Hertfordshire.
All Therapist will work with clients in the art therapy rooms provided by ORANGE ZEBRA which are equipped with a sink, art table, art materials, sand tray, toys, and a comfortable seating area.
There is an on site Cafe where parents can comfortably wait whilst the therapy sessions are in progress. For those therapists wanting some luxury between clients, you may also indulge in coffee breaks in the Cafe, or you may want to make your own tea with the facilities already provided in the therapy rooms.
You can park your car on site with the option for walks down the river right next to the building in your breaks (Stanstead Room).
Responsibilities:
Conduct individual arts therapy sessions in ORANGE ZEBRA therapy rooms with children and young people between 5-25 years.
Provide a safe and supportive environment for clients to express themselves creatively.
Document client progress and maintain accurate records in line with data protection laws
Comply with Orange Zebra Policies for contracted therapists
Collaborate with Parents, other healthcare professionals, such as psychologists and social workers, as needed.
Conduct Assessments with parents ( training provide)
Stay updated on best practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Complete therapy progress reports when requested (paid at hourly rate)
Complete review meetings with parents when requested ( paid at hourly rate)
Maintaining the room, clearing away sessional material and caring for the space when using it
Storing client date confidentially ( art therapist must provide their own folders)
Requirements:
Master's degree in Art Therapy or related field. (ie HCPC )
Public liability insurance
DBS fully Enhanced
Safeguarding children level 1, 2 and 3 is desirable but can be completed as part of the onboarding process
Previous experience working as an Art Therapist
Professional and ethical working in adherence with HCPC codes of practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong understanding of ethics and confidentiality in therapy.
Proficiency in various art mediums and techniques.
