As a Clinical Nurse Specialist , you will play a vital role in our clinic by conducting consultations, performing diagnostic procedures such as hair biopsies, administering treatments like steroid injections, and offering follow-up care via in-person and virtual appointments. As a self-employed practitioner, you will have the flexibility to manage your workload in collaboration with the clinic's scheduling needs
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient consultations to assess hair and scalp conditions.
Provide follow-up care, including virtual consultations via Zoom.
Administer treatments, such as steroid injections, for scalp conditions.
Perform diagnostic procedures, including hair and scalp biopsies.
Undertake venepuncture and DNA saliva tests in the clinic.
Write and/or contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the clinic.
Maintain accurate and compliant patient records.
Participate in mandatory training and professional development.
What We're Looking For
A Registered Clinical Nurse Specialist (RN) with valid NMC registration.
Proven clinical experience, preferably in dermatology, aesthetics, or trichology.
Competence in administering injections and performing biopsies.
Excellent communication skills with a patient-centred approach.
Flexibility to work part-time hours, including some weekends.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Desirable Criteria
Experience in a private clinic setting.
Additional training or certification in trichology or dermatology.
