Job Description

We are looking for reliable self-employed van drivers to assist with parcel deliveries. This role is ideal for drivers who are flexible, enjoy independent work, and want extra income during busy periods such as Christmas.

In and around Blaenau Gwent and Monmouthshire (local collection depots)

Duties:

Collect parcels from local depots. Load and secure parcels safely in your own van. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes. (Routes are optimized for you) Deliver and Collect parcels promptly and professionally to customers. Obtain proof of delivery (signatures or digital confirmation). Handle parcels with care, ensuring they arrive undamaged. Communicate with the depot or office if issues arise (e.g. failed deliveries, address problems). Maintain a polite and professional attitude with customers. Keep your vehicle clean, roadworthy, and compliant with legal requirements.

Requirements:

Must have access to your own van (roadworthy and suitable for parcel delivery). Full UK driving licence (valid and clean preferred). Proof of business insurance for your vehicle (or willingness to obtain it). Smartphone with data for navigation and delivery apps. Ability to lift and carry parcels of varying sizes and weights. Good knowledge of local roads and routes (advantageous). Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Flexible availability (especially during busy periods like Christmas). Ability to undergo screening tests
Pay: 100.00-200.00 per day
