Job Title: Self-Employed Site Engineer (Aluminium Windows & Doors)

Location: Based in Brighouse, West Yorkshire - UK-wide travel required

Rate: Competitive day rate (DOE)

About the Role:

We're looking for experienced and reliable

self-employed Site Engineers

to support our aluminium window and door installations across the UK. Based in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, you'll be required to travel to project sites nationwide -- accommodation is covered for overnight stays.

What We're Looking For:

We need subcontractors who are:

Experienced with on-site surveying, setting out, and overseeing installations Familiar with aluminium glazing systems (Cortizo or similar preferred) Comfortable working independently and solving problems on-site Professional, punctual, and client-facing

Key Responsibilities:

Attend site for initial measurements and setting out Oversee and inspect installations to ensure compliance with technical drawings Complete snagging reports and quality checks Communicate with site managers and clients Keep accurate site records and submit reports/photos as needed

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in construction/fenestration Own tools and equipment Valid CSCS card Full UK driving licence and own transport UTR number and ability to invoice for work Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required Experience with aluminium systems (Cortizo, Reynaers, Schuco, etc.)

Nice to Have:

SSSTS/SMSTS First Aid certification
