About the Opportunity

Vau Construction Ltd is expanding and looking to add reliable, skilled

subcontractors

to join our growing team.

We deliver

void refurbishments and maintenance works

for social housing clients across London. We are seeking experienced tradespeople who take pride in their work and represent our company with quality and professionalism.

What You'll Do

You will use your trade skills to complete a range of void and maintenance tasks, ensuring every job is delivered safely, professionally, and to a high standard.

Typical work includes (depending on your trade):

Painting & Decorating

Full void repaints Ceilings, walls and woodwork Patch repairs and making good Stain blocking and preparation work

Carpentry & General Repairs (Handyman / Multi-Skill)

Minor carpentry and basic construction tasks Adjusting and repairing doors Installing and repairing locks, handles, and fittings Silicone work, filling, and general making good

Electrical (Qualified Electricians)

EICRs Smoke and heat alarm installations Electrical remedial works Make-safe works in domestic properties

General Requirements

Proven experience as a subcontractor or tradesperson in property maintenance, refurbishment, or void works Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment Follow health & safety procedures at all times Deliver work to a professional and consistent standard Skilled in one or more relevant trades (

painting & decorating, multi-skill/handyman, electrical)

Ability to work independently and professionally in occupied and void properties Strong communication and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work

Own van and tools (essential)

CIS Registered (essential)

Electricians: NICEIC/NAPIT registration + 18th Edition (essential)

Reliable, consistent, and able to complete work to specification Professional, flexible, and able to represent Vau Construction positively on all jobs
