We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and have experience working with children in various capacities. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage behaviour effectively, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. The Teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, implementing curriculum, and supporting the diverse needs of students.
Duties
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to the individual needs of students.
Provide instruction in core subjects such as Math and Physical Education while integrating speech therapy techniques where necessary.
Foster a nurturing environment that encourages student participation and promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Utilise behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
Engage in tutoring sessions to provide additional support for students requiring extra help.
Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to ensure a comprehensive approach to each child's education.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding progress.
Mentor new teachers and assist in their professional development as needed.
Requirements
A degree in Education or a related field, with a focus on Early Childhood Education or Special Education preferred.
Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Familiarity with applied behaviour analysis techniques is advantageous.
Ability to proofread educational materials for clarity and accuracy.
Experience in teaching physical education is desirable but not essential.
A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development through innovative teaching methods.
