SEMH Teacher

to join a highly regarded

Alternative Provision

in Guildford, supporting pupils aged 5-16 who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education.


About the Role



Teach and inspire students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a nurturing, structured environment. Deliver creative, differentiated lessons that engage learners and help them achieve their potential. Work closely with a skilled pastoral team to provide holistic support and promote positive behaviour. Contribute to a calm, safe, and inclusive setting where every child feels valued.

What We're Looking For



Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in SEMH or alternative provision settings. Strong behaviour management skills and a restorative approach. Ability to build trust and positive relationships with pupils who have complex needs. Resilience, empathy, and a commitment to making a real difference.
