We're looking for an inspiring
SEMH Teaching Assistant
to join a specialist secondary provision supporting students inKS3-KS4
. This role is all about combining therapeutic support with creative media, giving students a safe space to express themselves, build confidence, and re-engage with learning.What you'll be doing:
Providing 1:1 support and small group interventions tailored to students with SEMH needs Assisting in the delivery of a fantastic, creative curriculum built around therapeutic support and media-based projects Encouraging engagement, resilience, and independence in students Working closely with teaching staff, therapists, and external agencies to ensure every student gets the support they need
What we're looking for:
Experience supporting young people with SEMH needs (school or alternative provision setting ideal) A creative, resilient, and patient approach -- you're not fazed by challenges and know how to build trust Passion for using media, arts, or other creative outlets to help students engage Strong team player with excellent communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From 100.00 per day
Work Location: In person
Expected start date: 01/11/2025
