Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Semi Senior Accountant to join our team. This job would be based across our Chester and Wrexham offices.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounts preparation and corporation tax returns.

Duties

Prepare financial statements and corporation tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Utilise accounting software such as Xero for efficient financial management. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accountants, fostering their professional development.

Experience

Proven experience as a Semi Senior Accountant or similar role within an accountancy practice. Proficiency in accounting software including Xero is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff effectively. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. AAT level 4 as a minimum qualification.

This role is a 32 hour week, but a full time wage, finishing at 1pm on a Friday, with hybrid working.
