Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Semi Senior/Trainee Accountant to join an established and growing firm of ICAEW registered Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisers.

You'll be involved with a variety of owner-managed businesses assisting them with their bookkeeping, personal taxes, payroll, VAT, accounts preparation, corporation tax and their statutory filings.

We pride ourselves on taking an active role with our clients. You will receive experience in a wide range of areas including Accounts preparation, Taxation, Auditing and even Probate.

Candidates must have at least 2 years Accountancy Practice experience.

You should ideally have experience in the following:

- Client Bookkeeping.

- Accounts Preparation

- VAT Return Preparation.

- Liaising with clients via telephone and emails in a professional manner

Software Experience (preferred, but not a requirement)

- IRIS

- Quickbooks

- Xero

- Sage

- Microsoft Office Including Word, Excel & Outlook

Person

- Excellent attention to detail.

- Willing to take a hands-on approach and to learn

- Good communication skills

Salary and study package depending on experience
