Job Overview

We are well a established resin driveway installer seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess some experience in groundworks, block laying, concreting and tarmac. Have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

This role involves various tasks that require physical stamina and manual dexterity, contributing to the successful completion of projects within our organisation. it is essential the ideal candidate must be able to commute to DE7 or NG8 every morning and have a UTR number.

This role comes with a van and fuel card to commute to job sites traveling from DE7, NG8 full and ongoing training is provided

Responsibilities

Carry out general labouring duties on-site, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials. Assist skilled tradespeople in their tasks, providing support where necessary. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations. Operate basic machinery and tools as required, ensuring proper use and maintenance. Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team efforts in achieving project goals. Report any issues or hazards to management promptly to ensure workplace safety.

Requirements

Local to DE7 / NG8 Previous experience in a labouring and groundworks role is preferred. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. A valid driver's licence is advantageous for transportation purposes. Knowledge of health and safety practices in a construction or industrial setting is beneficial. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
