Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in various construction and maintenance projects, ensuring that all groundwork is completed to the highest standards. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Duties

Carry out excavation and ground preparation tasks for construction projects. Assist in the installation of drainage systems, foundations, and other underground utilities. Operate hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organised worksite, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other team members to ensure project timelines are met. Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly. Follow instructions from supervisors regarding specific tasks and project requirements.

Qualifications

Previous experience in groundworks is a plus Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently when required. Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in construction environments. Good communication skills to liaise with team members and supervisors. A valid driver's licence is preferred but not mandatory. dumper and roller ticket are a bonus
