The Role
This is a hands-on position where you'll have responsibility for your own portfolio of clients and the opportunity to build strong relationships. Typical work includes:
Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Preparing VAT returns, management accounts, and occasional bookkeeping support.
Assisting with personal and business tax compliance.
Explaining accounting matters clearly to small business owners.
Working closely with partners and colleagues in a supportive, collaborative team.
Who It Suits
This role is ideal if you want a stable, long-term position at Semi-Senior level, where your experience and reliability are genuinely valued. In time, there is scope to progress into a Senior role as the firm evolves, though many of our team enjoy staying long-term at Semi-Senior level.

To be considered, you will need:
At least 2 years' experience in a UK-based accountancy practice
(we cannot support overseas applicants).
Confidence preparing accounts and tax returns with minimal supervision.
A genuine client-friendly approach, with the ability to explain things clearly.
An interest in being part of a supportive, down-to-earth team.

Competitive salary: 25,000 - 35,000 (depending on experience).
