JCE (Europe) Ltd, is a leading Ex Equipment Manufacturer based in Plymouth. We are currently recruiting an experienced Storeman to join our busy team.
The Job:
Assist in the assembly of E xd enclosures. Operate basic workshop tools and machinery (e.g., grinders, drills, pressure test rigs, and hand tools) under supervision. Prepare and maintain work areas, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to safety standards. Handle stores materials and equipment safely and correctly. Follow instructions from workshop manager. Build mounting plates to approved dwgs and work packs. Any other duties involved in the build process of our product. Experience operating purchase & stock control systems Excellent communication skills
Required Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in a workshop or mechanical environment (preferred). Basic understanding of mechanical components and tools. Ability to follow technical instructions and health and safety procedures. Physically fit with good manual dexterity. Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required.
Desirable Qualifications:
NVQ Level 2 or similar in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred but not essential). Forklift (preferred but not essential).
