The Role:
You will be required to work individually as well as part of a team. You will work within standard specifications to convert fire doors and their components into a finished product, dependent on the requested requirements from clients.
A trainee Vision Panel Installer will be learning to achieve the following skills:
Be fully trained to set up & use lifter, nail gun, chop saw, sander, panel saw, planer & pallet truck.
Gain a high skill level on all machines above
Gain in depth knowledge of the glazing practices & FOA requirements at PWIDF
Learn to produce high quality products when using the machines above
Learn to produce a high measurable output when glazing
Be highly skilled at glazing & finishing
Be fully trained in the safe handling of glass
Be fully trained in the safe use of fillers, cleaners & finishing materials
Learn to accurately set above machines up to reflect paperwork requirements
Gain "Cross Over" skills to safely work in other departments

Requirements:
Ability to use basic tools for wood working
The offer:
Monthly paid earning based on 42.5 working hours per week; 07:00 - 16:00 Weekdays
20 days paid holidays (+ Bank holidays) per year with an additional day for each year's service completed, up to a maximum of 25 days
Permanent position will SSP and pension
