Sen Assistant / Respite Worker/pa/autism /ta
Job Description
Great opportunity for someone to work with a 18 year old young Man who has Autism and is non verbal.
We are looking for someone preferably a Male to provide PA/ Respite 1:1 support for taking him out in the community you will be required to work/ accompany him on accessing some sport and leisure activities Eg: a local gym, Nature/ local walks, Swimming ,cycling ,horse riding ,& various days out also you will be required to work on some independent living skills.To support Socialising, learning and interacting .
Working Hours would be mainly during school holidays ,and potentially few hours some weekends during term time.
The role would suit someone who has experience of working in a Special needs school or college SEN Ta ,Autism respite / play worker or a Pychology graduate & ABA tutor. Person needs to be fun ,creative ,caring and reliable .

Experience working with SEN children preferred.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour
