Job Description

We are looking for someone to join our amazing team. We run early intervention and pre school sessions for children aged 2-4 in the mornings and afterschool sessions for children age 4-12 years In the afternoons. All the children attending SEN Space are diagnosed with SLD and complex needs.

Your role is two fold. In the mornings you will be supporting the teacher in delivering the preschool curriculum in a class of 8 children. If the afternoons, you will looking after children on a 1:1 basis or a small group of children with a range of additional needs between the ages of 4-12 years,

The hours for this position. Are Monday to Friday 1-5, or 10-6.

```Duties```
- Assist in the care and supervision of children in the sessions
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children
- Engage in age-appropriate activities and play with children

```Experience```
- Previous experience working with young children with SEN preferred
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and co-workers
- Patience, compassion, and a nurturing attitude towards children
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
